Unite Cyprus Now will only collect the minimum of personal data we need from you in order to keep you up to date with our campaigns and enable you to get more involved if you want to.

We will never share your personal data with any third party organisations unless we provide your explicit consent.
When someone visits our website we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify any person. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

SUBSCRIBERS TO OUR NEWSLETTER

People who would like to receive our newsletter can sign up via this website. As part of the registration process for our e-newsletter, we collect the minimum of personal information, just your name and email address. We use that information to keep you up to date with news, campaigns, events and ways you can get involved; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, Mailchimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.

IF YOU CONTACT US IN ANY OTHER WAY

If you get in touch with us via post or email about any other matter (or you send us your contact details via social media for example by direct message on Twitter), and you are not already a subscriber to our newsletter, we will not contact you about any matter other than the topic you have originally contacted us about, and we will delete your contact details once we have finished dealing with your query, unless you provide your explicit consent not to (for example if you ask at this point to be added to our mailing list to receive our newsletter).

If we meet you face to face (for example at an event) and you give us your contact details in order to keep in touch, we will only collect your name and email address, and we will seek permission from you at the time to contact you via a follow-up email – you will have the option at this stage to join our mailing list for regular updates. If you only want us to contact you about a specific issue, we will delete your details once the issue is resolved.
